Křesťanské educatio v životě a díle vybraných historických osobností

Abstract

Tématem této práce, která se pohybuje na pomezí teoretické, historické a historicko - srovnávací studie, je křesťanské educatio chápané jako nejryzejší vyjádření bytostné podstaty výchovy. Na úvod přibližujeme pojem výchovy tak, jak se dnes vyskytuje v pedagogické teorii. Další kapitola se zabývá vymezením křesťanského educatia. Jelikož se v práci snažíme rovněž o historický pohled, představujeme dále i platónskou paideu jako předchůdce educatia. Pak se obracíme směrem ke středověku a na osobnostech sv. Augustina a sv. Františka z Assisi ukazujeme, jak se tyto osobnosti snažily ideál křesťanského educatia svým životem naplnit. V poslední kapitole se již nacházíme v době, kdy se pohled na výchovu v duchu tohoto ideálu dostával stále více do pozadí. Z této doby jsou vybrány osobnosti, které v tomto pojetí výchovy nadále spatřují nejvyšší ideál člověka a které se ho zároveň snaží převést do svého života a díla. Cílem a smyslem práce je ukázat jeden z možných inspirativních pohledů na výchovu a vybídnout k zamyšlení nad naší současnou situací.

Christian educatio is the topic of this work which is partly a theoretical, partly a historical, partly a historically comparative study. The Christian educatio is understood here as the purest expression of the essence of education. In the introduction we show the notion of education as it is used in the modern pedagogical theory. In the next chapter we deal with the definition of the Christian educatio. Since we also try to use the historical approach, we present the Plato's concept of education as a precursor of the educatio. Next we continue with the middle age and introduce st. Augustine and st. Francis of Assisi. We show the way these personalities tried to fill up the idea of the Christian educatio in their lives. In the last chapter we occur in the period when the notion of education as the sense of the Christian educatio is being weakened. We choose the personalities that still consider this notion of education as the biggest ideal of human being, and that at the same time try to transfer it into their lives and work. The aim and the purpose of this work is to show one of the inspiring notion of education and to ask the reader to think about the current situation.
