Problémy prestiže učitelů základní školy

Abstract

Tato práce podává ucelený pohled na, v současné době často diskutovaný problém, prestiž učitelů ZŠ. Teoretická část dává přehled základních poznatků o prestiži profese učitele základní školy, shrnuje dosavadní poznatky vztahující se k této problematice, analyzuje faktory, které ovlivňují hodnocení prestiže profese učitele široké veřejnosti a samotných učitelů. Část druhá obsahuje empirickou sondu, která se zabývá pohledem učitelů základních škol na prestiž své profese učitele a na možnost zvyšování prestiže profese učitele základní školy.

This thesis offers an overview of basic school teachers' prestige as a recently welldiscussed issue. The theoretical part describes the basic information about the prestige of the basic school teachers' profession, it summarizes the actual findings referring to this issue, it analyzes the elements which influence how the prestige of the teachers' profession is valued by the general public and the teachers themselves. In the second part there is a small research on how the basic school teachers look at the prestige of their own profession and on the possible ways of raising this prestige.
