Identifikace a adaptace příslušníků ukrajinské menšiny v České republice

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of integration of members of the Ukrainian minority into Czech society. The work is specifically focused on the experience of Ukrainians who hold Czech citizenship with adaptation to the majority society of the Czech Republic and how they identify themselves. It examines their adaptation to Czech society and culture, how they perceive their position within this society, whether they consider themselves Czechs or Ukrainians and what obstacles they encounter during this process. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to a summary description of the Ukrainian minority in the Czech Republic and also to the previous research on Ukrainians in the Czech territory. It also defines the basic concepts and theories that are used in the thesis. The second part describes the research methodology, methods of data collection and analysis. The data are obtained by qualitative research in the form of six semi-structured interviews with members of the Ukrainian minority. The final part consists of analysis of topics such as beginnings of residence in the Czech Republic, citizenship, language, social contacts, traditions, interest in society's happenings and identification, which resulted from the interviews.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem začleňování příslušníků ukrajinské menšiny do české společnosti. Práce je konkrétně zaměřena na zkušenosti Ukrajinců, kteří jsou držiteli českého státního občanství, s adaptací na majoritní společnost České republiky a na to, jak se zde identifikují. Zkoumá, jak probíhá jejich adaptace na českou společnost a kulturu, jak vnímají svou pozici uvnitř této společnosti, zda se považují za Čechy nebo za Ukrajince a s jakými překážkami se během tohoto procesu setkávají. První část práce je věnována souhrnnému popisu ukrajinské menšiny v ČR a také předchozím výzkumům o Ukrajincích na českém území. Dále definuje základní pojmy a teorie, se kterými se v rámci práce pracuje. Ve druhé části je popsána metodologie výzkumu, metody sběru a analýzy dat. Data jsou získána kvalitativním zkoumáním v podobě šesti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s příslušníky ukrajinské menšiny. Závěrečnou část pak tvoří analýza témat jako začátky pobytu v České republice, občanství, jazyk, sociální kontakty, tradice, zájem o dění ve společnosti a identifikace, které vyplynuly z rozhovorů.
