Abstract

My diploma work is talking about the meaning of the work of visually impaired people. I chose this theme because I passed a practice, a part-time job in the coffee shop where people with special needs are employed. This experience gave me a view to this problem of employment of people with special needs and it showed me how the work is necessary for each person. So it became clear for me that my diploma work will be founded on this theme and because it would be extensive a lot I had to specialize it for a smaller group of people whom needs social care. I chose the visually impaired people. There are no doubts that work is very important for people especially for people with special needs. It could give them the sense and the meaning of their life My diploma work consists the introduction, the five main chapters and the conclusion. In the first chapter I am writing about the universal meaning of the work for each person, then I am describing the spiritual meaning of the work. The third chapter is talking about the group of visually impaired people and about specialties and difficulties of their handicap. Next chapter is called "The work and the employment in the life of visually impaired people" and it includes the meaning of the work for this people, the conditions and the requirements of the employment, consequences of the handicap and concrete problems of employment of visually impaired people. The last part of my diploma work is the public inquiry, which I hope is giving a demonstration of my theoretical considerations.
