Možné přístupy středního zdravotnického managementu k uvažované praxi aktivní eutanázie v České republice

Abstract

Cílem této práce je zachytit názor zástupců středního zdravotnického managementu na vhodnost začlenění možnosti provedení výkonu aktivní eutanázie do českého zdravotnického systému a jejich pohled na problematiku aktivní eutanázie, prostřednictvím získání odpovědí na předem definované výzkumné otázky. V rámci teoretické části je čtenář nejprve seznámen s fenoménem eutanázie a odlišením termínu aktivní eutanázie, na kterou je zaměřena výzkumná část práce, od ostatních pojmů, za které by potencionálně mohl být snadno zaměněn. Dále je stručně představen aktuální legislativní rámec v České republice a Evropská judikatura, týkající se eutanázie. Dále je představena etická problematika prostřednictvím souhrnu argumentů a protiargumentů pro a proti legalizaci aktivní eutanázie v České republice. Na konci teoretické části jsou v krátkosti zachyceny úvahy o začlenění eutanázie do kontextu hospicové péče, které zaznívají ve veřejném prostoru a shrnutí toho, co víme o vnímání této problematiky z pohledu České populace. V praktické části práce je popsána metodologie výzkumu a interpretace dat. V rámci metodologie výzkumu je představen výzkumný problém a cíl výzkumu. The aim of this thesis is to capture the opinion of representatives of secondary health management on the appropriateness of including the possibility of performing active euthanasia in the Czech healthcare system and their view on the issue of active euthanasia, by obtaining answers to predefined research questions. In the theoretical part, the reader is first acquainted with the phenomenon of euthanasia and the distinction of the term active euthanasia, which is the focus of the research part of this thesis, from other concepts, with which it could potentially be easily confused. Furthermore, the current legislative framework in the Czech Republic and European case law on euthanasia are briefly introduced. The following is an introduction to ethical issues through a summary of arguments and counterarguments for and against the legalization of active euthanasia in the Czech Republic. At the end of the theoretical part, there are brief reflections on the inclusion of euthanasia in the context of hospice care, which are voiced in media and public sphere and a summary of what we know about the perception of this issue from the perspective of the Czech population.
