Deutsche und tschechische Faust - Variationen

Abstract

The diploma work deals with the origin and development of the legend about Faust and the variations of the topic in the German and Czech literature. Individual chapters concern selected works of various authors which offer interesting views of the Fausttopic; the emphasis is on the comparison between these works. The goal of the work is above all to point out the transformations ofthe motif from the flfst written legends until today.

Práce se zabývá vznikem a vývojem legendy o Faustovi a variacemi na faustovské téma v německé a české literatuře. Jednotlivé kapitoly se věnují vybraným dílům různých autorů, která přinášejí různé pohledy na faustovské téma, pncemi se klade důraz na jejich srovnáváni. Cílem práce je především poukázat na proměny faustovského motivu v různých zpracováních od nejstarších záznamu legendy až dodnes.
