Le néo-parménidisme italien au XXᵉ siècle. La philosophie d'Emanuele Severino et la mort comme nécessité d'être

Abstract

Keywords: Emanuele Severino, Neo-Parmenidism, original structure, Being, Nothingness, death. The aim of this work is to put into circulation the thought of the Italian philosopher Emanuele Severino. The Neo-Parmenidism, of which Severino is the most important representative, is an interesting voice in the Italian and European philosophical panorama nowadays and it can open a new field for philosophical research, especially in the theme of death. A definition of Neo-Parmenidism will be given and the context from which and in which it was born and developed in the XXᵉ century will be outlined. The 'original structure' will then be explained. It is the logical-conceptual knot which, according to Severino, is the true foundation, since it allows the Being to be shown in its full authenticity, that is, without contamination by nothingness. The second half of Severino's writings will also be discussed. The path to the affirmation of authentic Being through the "sunset" of being-that-is-not will be shown. Finally, we will expose how Severino manages to give a new meaning to the phenomenon of death, which no longer has to do with nothingness but only with Being, as an approach to the Glory.

Mots-clé: Emanuele Severino, néo-parmenidisme, structure originelle, Être, Néant, mort. Le but de ce travail est la mise en circulation de la pensée du philosophe italien Emanuele Severino. Le néo-parménidisme, dont Severino est le plus grand représentant, est une voix intéressante dans le panorama philosophique italien et européen d'aujourd'hui et peut ouvrir un nouveau terrain à la recherche philosophique, en particulier dans la thématique de la mort. Nous nous intéresserons à donner une définition du néo-parménidisme et à esquisser le contexte à partir duquel et dans lequel il est né et s'est développé au XXᵉ siècle. Nous traiterons ensuite la "structure originelle", c'est-à-dire ce nœud logico-conceptuel qui, selon Severino, est le vrai fondement, car il permet de montrer l'être dans sa pleine authenticité, c'est-à-dire sans contamination par le néant. Nous aborderons aussi la seconde moitié des écrits de Severino, dans laquelle est théorisée et montrée la voie vers l'affirmation de l'Être authentique à travers le « coucher du soleil » de l'être-qui-n'est-pas. Enfin nous montrerons comment Severino arrive à donner un nouveau significat au phénomène de la mort, qui n'a plus à voir avec le néant mais seulement avec l'Être, en tant qu'approche à la Gloire.
