Studie veřejného mínění o hospicích v ČR

Abstract

Cílem práce bylo zjistit informovanost populace Ceské republiky o hospicích a hospicových službách a také její zájem o hospice. Tato práce obsahuje všeobecný, strucný prehled pojmu týkajících se umírání, smrti, paliativní a hospicové péce i historii hospicu u nás a ve svete. Dále je zde obsažen prehled a popis jednotlivých fungujících "kamenných" hospicu na území Ceské republiky i zmínka o projektování a výstavbe nových ceských hospicu. Nedílnou soucástí každého hospice jsou dobrovolníci, tak i v této práci je popsán jejich nezastupitelný význam pro cinnost a chod všech hospicu. Pro zpracování praktické cásti tohoto výzkumného šetrení bylo zapotrebí získání a vyhodnocení alespon 200 dotazníku (tato práce jich obsahuje 201) od respondentu starších 18- let z celé Ceské republiky. Vyhodnocení techto dotazníku prineslo sebou mnohdy prekvapující výsledky týkajících se práve informovanosti a zájmu verejnosti o hospice. Bylo zjišteno, že skoro vetšina respondentu ví, co je hospic, o neco méne pojem hospic prímo specifikovala. Také verejnost shledala duležitost informovanosti o hospicích a jako nejvýznamnejší zdroj informací byla zvolena televize. Dotazník obsahoval i otázky zamerené prímo na respondenta s dotazem, zda si myslí, že práce dobrovolníku hospice je duležitá a zda by se on sám chtel dobrovolníkem stát....

The aim of the work was to ascertain the level of aweareness of the population of the Czech Republic about hospices and hospice services and also their interest in hospices. This work contains a general, brief overview of the terms relating to dying, death, palliative and hospice care and the history of hospices in our country and the world. Furthermore it contains an overview and description of the individual working hospice buildings within the territory of the Czech Republic together with a mention of the projects for and building of new Czech hospices. An inseparable part of each hospice are the volunteers, thus their irreplaceable significance for the activities and running of all hospices is also described in this work. For the running of the practical part of this research investigation the obtaining and evaluation of at least 200 questionnaires (this work contains 201 of them) was required from respondents of over 18 years of age from over the whole of the Czech Republic. The evaluation of these questionnaires often produced surprising results concerning the precise degree of informity and public interest in hospices.
