Sjednocování průtokových veličin v příhraniční oblasti povodí Odry =Unification of discharge variables in the border area of the Oder River basin

Abstract

V rámci dvoustranné spolupráce mezi Českou a Polskou republikou v oblasti vodního hospodářství na hraničních vodách bylo provedeno vzájemné porovnání průtokových veličin v příhraničních vodoměrných stanicích náležících do povodí řeky Odry. Postupně dochází ke sjednocování průtokových extrémů a základních hydrologických údajů na vodních tocích v této hraniční oblasti. Děje se tak poprvé po několika desetiletích vzájemné spolupráce mezi Českým hydrometeorologickým ústavem a polským ústavem pro meteorologii a vodní hospodářství (Instytut Meteorologii i Gospodarki Wodnej). Sjednocené hodnoty by měly sloužit k vodohospodářským účelům uskutečňovaným na vodních tocích ležících na pomezí obou států.

The Czech and Polish hydrological services have cooperated together and continue to cooperate on two levels, on the one hand directly between the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) and the Polish Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, National Research Institute (IMGW-PIB), and at the same time within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Poland in the field of water management over border waters. In this context, a working subgroup of hydrological experts has compared discharge variables at the border water stations of the Oder River basin. The extremely variable discharge measurements and the fundamental hydrological data on watercourses in this border area have gradually unified. These unified values should be used in conducting water management on the watercourses lying on the border between these two countries.
