Avifauna Kanárských ostrovů

Abstract

Práce se věnuje ptačí fauně jednoho ze souostroví Makaronésie, tedy Kanárských ostrovů. Je koncipována tak, že ji lze použít jako zdroj informací i jako motivační prostředek k sledování přírody souostroví pro dospělé i zajímající se děti. Také ji lze použít jako materiál při plánování případné školní biologické exkurze, i když tato možnost je spíše teoretická. První a druhá kapitola popisují geografii a klima a třetí kapitola seznamuje s prostředím celého souostroví. Čtvrtá kapitola přibližuje hlavní ekosystémy, které se na Kanárských ostrovech vyskytují, a druhy ptáků a rostlin, se kterými se zde můžeme setkat. Pátá kapitola doporučuje lokality, kde je možné pozorovat endemické i další hnízdící druhy ptáků, ale i rarity a zatoulance a ptáky na tahu. Šestá kapitola se věnuje původu a evoluci avifauny Kanárských ostrovů a národním parkům, které byly v průběhu let založeny, aby byla chráněna ostrovní vegetace a prostředí, jež dává naději na zachování všech druhů místních živočichů. Sedmá kapitola seznamuje s endemickými druhy ptáků a uvádí, na kterém stanovišti žijí, a předkládá tabulku s přehledem druhů, kteří se na jednotlivých hlavních ostrovech vyskytují po celý rok, hnízdí zde nebo jsou letními návštěvníky a zároveň zde i hnízdí, uvádí dokonce jeden endemický druh, který již vyhynul, několik...

The work is devoted to the bird fauna of one of the Macaronesian archipelagos, i.e. the Canary Islands. It is designed in such a way that it can be used as a source of information as well as a motivational tool to observe the nature of the archipelago for both adults and interested children. It can also be used as material when planning a possible school biology field trip, although this possibility is rather theoretical. The first and second chapters describe the geography and climate, and the third chapter introduces the environment of the entire archipelago. The fourth chapter describes the main ecosystems found in the Canary Islands and the species of birds and plants that can be found here. The fifth chapter recommends localities where it is possible to observe endemic and other nesting bird species, as well as rarities and vagrants and migratory birds. The sixth chapter is dedicated to the origin and evolution of the Canary Islands' avifauna and the national parks that have been established over the years to protect the island vegetation and environment, which gives hope for the preservation of all species of local animals.
