Domovy pro seniory v době pandemie covid-19

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá domovy pro seniory v době pandemie covid-19. Konkrétně se jedná o období od roku 2020 až po první čtvrtletí roku 2022, kdy se domovy pro seniory v tomto období musely přizpůsobit nové situaci spojené s pandemií covid-19. Tato diplomová práce má za cíl kontrastovat zavedená opatření státu s praxí v konkrétním domově pro seniory a zachytit jejich vliv na domov. K dosažení tohoto cíle nejprve došlo shromážděním informací týkajících se domovů pro seniory v době pandemie, informací ohledně opatření platných uvnitř domovů a jejich vlivu na domovy pro seniory. Tyto informace jsou dále využity ke zkoumání vlivu opatření a praxe v konkrétním domově pro seniory. Na shromážděných informací pak autor ukazuje všechna relevantní opatření a jejich vliv na konkrétní domov pro seniory, praxi domova při zavedení těchto opatření a hodnocení opatření personálem. Ke shromáždění potřebných informací byla využita literatura, zahraniční zdroje, vyhlášky, legislativa, výroční zprávy a rozhovory v rámci domova pro seniory Sue Ryder. Práce mimo již zmíněný kontrast také mapuje jednotlivá vládní nařízení relevantní pro domovy pro seniory v období pandemie a také vývoj situace uvnitř domovů pro seniory, což umožňuje pochopit situaci uvnitř domovů v období pandemie covid-19.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of homes for the elderly during the covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, it deals with the period of time from year 2020 until the first quarter of the year 2022, where in said period the homes for the elderly were forced to adapt to the new situation of the covid-19 pandemic. The thesis aims to confront adapted government regulations with practice inside specific home for the elderly and map their influence on said institution. To achieve this, the author collected information regarding homes for the elderly during pandemic, information regarding measures existing inside the homes and their influence on homes for the elderly. Author uses the collection of information to study the influence of said regulations and practice inside specific home. Using the collected information, author then shows all relevant measures and their effect on particular home for the elderly, the practice of the home when implementing these measures and the evaluation of the regulations by the staff. To gather all the information needed, author used multiple sources of literature, foreign sources, legislatives, annual reports, and interviews carried out inside the home for the elderly Sue Ryder.
