Ľudský papilomavírus - prevencia rakoviny kŕčka maternice a informovanosť študentiek stredných škôl o HPV vírusoch a ich prevencii

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is mainly focused on human papillomaviruses (HPV viruses), cervical cancer and primary prevention against HPV viruses. In the theoretical part, basic information about these viruses is described - from their history, epidemiology, risk factors that support the spread of viruses, to the ways of transmission of HPV infection and the division of HPV viruses according to their level of danger. The work also describes selected diseases caused by HPV viruses. Specifically, the work describes "less serious" genital warts (their epidemiology and incidence, mode of transmission and the way to treat or prevent this disease). A significant part of the work is devoted to cervical cancer as a disease caused by high-risk types of HPV viruses. The course of the disease and its individual phases are described in the thesis - from precancerous stages of cervical cancer to cervical cancer itself. A significant part of the work is devoted to the epidemiology of this disease and especially the possibilities of prevention against it (primary prevention, secondary prevention, etc.). Táto práca je všeobecne zameraná na ľudské papilomavírusy (HPV vírusy), rakovinu kŕčka maternice a primárnu prevenciu proti HPV vírusom. V rámci teoretickej časti sú popísané základné informácie o týchto vírusoch - od histórie, epidemiológie, rizikových faktorov, ktoré podporujú šírenie vírusov alebo vznik ochorení spôsobených HPV vírusmi, po samotnú cestu šírenia infekcie HPV a delenia HPV vírusov podľa stupňa ich nebezpečia. Ďalej sa v práci popisujú vybrané ochorenia, ktoré HPV vírusy spôsobujú. Konkrétne práca opisuje "menej závažné" genitálne bradavice (ich epidemiológiu a výskyt, spôsob prenosu a spôsob akým sa dá liečiť alebo brániť pred týmto ochorením). Značná časť práce sa venuje rakovine kŕčka maternice ako ochoreniu spôsobeného práve vysoko rizikovými typmi HPV vírusov. V práci je popísaný priebeh ochorenia a jeho jednotlivé fázy - od prekanceróz (prednádorových štádií) rakoviny kŕčka maternice po samotný karcinóm cervixu. Významná časť práce je venovaná epidemiológií tohto ochorenia a hlavne možnosťami prevencie pred ním (primárna prevencia, sekundárna prevencia a pod.). V praktickej časti som sa rozhodla použiť kvantitatívnu metódu výskumu vo forme dotazníku, ktorý bol určený pre študentky prvých až štvrtých ročníkov stredných škôl.
