Abstract

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Anna Boháčková Supervisor: Ing. Milan Šebek Title: Physiotherapy in patients with neglect syndrome Abstract: This bachelor's thesis explores the topic of physiotherapy for patients with neglect syndrome. The objective of this study is to evaluate the progress of patients with neglect syndrome who undergo physiotherapy using selected methods such as visual scanning, forced use, hemi-field patching, and limb activation training. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes information related to neglect syndrome, with a focus on etiology and pathogenesis, classification, clinical symptoms and physiotherapeutic procedures. The practical part presents case studies of two patients with neglect syndrome. Each patient underwent an initial examination, eight physiotherapy sessions, and a final evaluation that included standardized testing. Both patients demonstrated improvement in their condition. Milan Šebek Název bakalářské práce: Fyzioterapie u pacientů s neglect syndromem Abstrakt bakalářské práce: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem fyzioterapie u pacientů s neglect syndromem. Cílem této práce je hodnocení vývoje zdravotního stavu u pacientů se syndromem opomíjení, kteří podstupují fyzioterapii s vybranými metodami, kterými jsou vizuální skenovaní (visual scanning), metoda nuceného používání (forced use), zaslepení poloviny zorného pole (hemi- field patching) a aktivační trénink postižené končetiny (limb activation training). Práce je složena z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část práce sumarizuje informace týkající se neglect syndromu se zaměřením na etiologii a patogenezi, klasifikaci neglect syndromu, klinické příznaky, dělení a fyzioterapeutické postupy. V rámci praktické části byly zpracovány kazuistiky dvou pacientů s neglect syndromem. Každý z pacientů podstoupil vstupní vyšetření, osm fyzioterapeutických sezení a na závěr i výstupní vyšetření, při kterém došlo k opakovanému vyplňování standardizovaných testů.
