Analýza filmových a televizních obsahů odkazujících na český underground vyrobených před rokem 1989

Abstract

The bachelor thesis Analysis of movie and television content referring to the Czech underground produced before 1989 focuses on the elements of communist propaganda in the nationwide campaign against the Czechoslovak underground in the 1970s. The thesis examines film and television content produced about the underground movement in the 1970s using qualitative discursive and content analysis method. In the theoretical part, I draw on literature and contemporary newspaper articles to add the historical context. I also present events that had an impact on the development of musical genres in socialist Czechoslovakia and the creation of the underground as a way of life. The next part presents a short history of the bands The Plastic People of the Universe and DG 307 and introduces the circumstances of the Kapela event of the clandestine State security. The last chapters of the theoretical part are devoted to propaganda and its use in film. In the practical part of the thesis, the film Atentát na kulturu (Assassination of Culture) and the episode Mimikry from the 30 případů majora Zemana (Thirty Cases of Major Zeman) TV series are analysed. Bakalářská práce Analýza filmových a televizních obsahů odkazujících na český underground vyrobených před rokem 1989 se zaměřuje na prvky komunistické propagandy v celostátní kampani proti československému undergroundu 70. let. V práci jsou za pomoci kvalitativní diskurzivní a obsahové analýzy zkoumány filmové a televizní obsahy, které propaganda o undergroundovém hnutí natočila v 70. letech minulého století. V teoretické části jsem vycházel z literatury a dobových novinových článků pro doplnění historického kontextu. Dále zde prezentuji události, které měly dopad na vývoj hudebních žánrů v socialistickém Československu a na vytvoření undergroundu, jakožto i způsobu života. Významné kapely hudebního undergroundu představuje krátkou historii kapel The Plastic People of the Universe a DG 307 a přibližuje okolnosti utajené akce Státní bezpečnosti Kapela. Poslední kapitoly teoretické části jsou věnovány propagandě a jejímu využití ve filmu. V praktické části práce analyzuji film Atentát na kulturu a díl Mimikry ze seriálu 30 případů majora Zemana. V závěru jsou shrnuty nejdůležitější poznatky z analýzy a porovnány propagandistické prvky obou analyzovaných snímků. Práce si dává za cíl ukázat čtenářovi hlavní prvky komunistické propagandy namířené proti undergroundovému hnutí 70. let.
