Kvalita žití dětí a mladistvých v dětském domově

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the quality of life of children and young people in a children's home. The aim of the thesis is to describe the lives of children in the observed children's home and to compare possible changes and development since their placement to the present. This description and comparison were made through the case studies of two selected boys. To supplement the information and strengthen this topic, an interview was conducted with the host. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part consists of several chapters that are subsequently related to the practical part. Here, I mention the history and current state of children's homes in the Czech Republic, types of children's homes, causes of children's placement in children's homes, children's needs, and developmental stages of children. In the last chapter, the literature review describes the CAN syndrome. The empirical part is focused on qualitative research methods. The research was conducted by observing and getting to know the operation and schedule of the home, its staff, and the children themselves. Diplomová práce se zabývá kvalitou žití dětí a mladistvých v dětském domově. Cílem této práce bylo popsat život dětí ve sledovaném dětském domově a porovnat možné změny a vývoj od jejich umístění do současnosti. Tento popis a porovnání byly uskutečněny skrze kazuistiky dvou vybraných chlapců. K doplnění informací a umocnění tohoto tématu byl proveden rozhovor s hostitelkou. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se skládá z několika kapitol, které následně souvisejí s částí praktickou. Zde zmiňuji historii a současnost dětských domovů v ČR, druhy dětských domovů. Také jsou uvedeny příčiny umístění dětí do dětských domovů, potřeby dětí či vývojová stadia dětí. V poslední kapitole literární rešerše popisuji syndrom CAN. Empirická část je zaměřena na metodou kvalitativního výzkumu. Výzkum byl proveden pozorováním a poznáváním chodu a harmonogramu domova, pracovníků a samotných dětí. Pro výzkum byly vypracované kazuistiky na základě zmíněných dokumentů, spisů a dle interních PRODŮ. K většímu uchopení a prohloubení tématu sloužil rozhovor s hostitelkou. Výsledkem této práce bylo popsání možných změn, pokroků, zlepšení či odchylek obou chlapců od jejich umístění do ústavní péče do současnosti.
