Zkušenosti středoškolských studentů s užíváním nikotinových sáčků

Abstract

Introduction: In recent years, the tobacco industry has begun innovating novele new nicotine product categories. These include nicotine pouches. These are beginning to appeal particularly to the youth population, which may include secondary grammar school students. Objectives: The aim of the study was to map the experiences of high school students in the Pardubice Region with the use of nicotine pouches. A sub-objective was to determine the prevalence of tobacco and nicotine product use among secondary grammar school students. Methods: Quantitative research was used to obtain the data. The research was conducted using an anonymous online questionnaire survey in the Survio.com platform. The management of the Secondary Grammar School Dašická in Pardubice was approached for the research and agreed to conduct the research among students over 15 years of age. The research was conducted successively in all 16 classes, mostly during the Social Studies classes. Students completed the survey on their smart devices. Východiska: Tabákový průmysl začal v posledních letech inovovat nové formy nikotinových výrobků. Mezi ně můžeme zařadit nikotinové sáčky. Ty začínají být atraktivní především pro populaci mladých lidí, mezi které můžeme zařadit i středoškolské studenty. Cíle: Cílem práce bylo zmapovat zkušenosti středoškolských studentů v Pardubickém kraji s užíváním nikotinových sáčků. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit prevalenci užívání tabákových a nikotinových produktů mezi středoškolskými studenty. Metody: Pro získání dat byl použit kvantitativní výzkum. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí anonymního online dotazníkového šetření na platformě Survio.com. Pro výzkum bylo osloveno vedení Gymnázia Dašická v Pardubicích, které souhlasilo s realizací výzkumu u studentů starších 15 let (tj. kvinty, sexty, septimy a oktávy). Výzkum proběhl postupně ve všech 16 třídách nejčastěji během hodin Společenskovědního základu. Studenti vyplňovali dotazník na svých chytrých zařízeních. Dotazník byl rozdělen do čtyř částí. První část dotazníku mapovala základní informace o respondentech (věk, pohlaví, třída), druhá část se zabývala informovaností studentů ohledně nikotinových sáčků, třetí část mapovala prevalenci užívání tabákových a nikotinových sáčků, a v poslední části byli sledovány zkušenosti a vzorce užívání nikotinových sáčků.
