Zelená reflexe Josefa Váchala

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá prací Josefa Váchala z perspektivy environmentalismu s cílem prozpoznat možné rysy této ideologie. Tyto rysy se vynořují dodatečně ze samotné počáteční definice environmentalismu. Práce je zaměřena především na Váchalovo dílo "Šumana umírající a romantická". Hlavním cílem práce je analýza tohoto díla podle výše zmíněných kritérií a na základě metody hermeneutické analýzy textu.

This thesis discusses the work of Josef Váchal from a perspective of environmentalism and aims at identifying possible features of this ideology. These features emerge subsequently from environmentalism's initial definition. It focuses mainly on Váchal's work "Šumava umírající a romantická". First, the life, work and this artist's relation to nature is introduced, then the historical context and the circumstances of the work's origin. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the piece "Šumava umírající a romantická" according to the above mentioned criteria based on the method of hermeneutic text analysis. Finally, the thesis assesses which features of environmentalism are present in the writing and discusses whether, based on the findings, Váchal can be identified as environmentalist.
