Mateřství u žen s PAS

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines motherhood in women with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The aim of the thesis is to explore how mothers with autism spectrum disorder experience motherhood. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter introduces autism spectrum disorder, its definition, manifestations, and autism spectrum disorder in women. The second chapter focuses on the topic of motherhood, its basic definition, and selected psychological and interpersonal aspects. The last chapter deals with motherhood in women with ASD and presents the results of previous research on this topic. The empirical part of the thesis describes the conducted qualitative research. The research goal, main research question, and five sub-research questions were determined. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with five mothers with autism spectrum disorder. The collected data were analysed using the method of thematic analysis. Four main themes emerged from the interviews with the participants: me as a mother, relationship with the child, challenges of motherhood, and support in motherhood. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o mateřství u žen s poruchou autistického spektra (PAS). Cílem práce je zjistit, jak matky s poruchou autistického spektra prožívají své mateřství. Teoretická část práce je rozčleněna do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola představuje poruchy autistického spektra, jejich definici, projevy a poruchy autistického spektra u žen. Druhá kapitola se věnuje tématu mateřství, jeho základnímu vymezení a vybraným psychologickým a interpersonálním aspektům. Poslední kapitola se zabývá mateřstvím u žen s PAS a předkládá výsledky dosavadních výzkumů na toto téma. Empirická část práce popisuje proběhlý kvalitativní výzkum. Nejprve byl stanoven cíl práce, poté hlavní výzkumná otázka a pět dílčích výzkumných otázek. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pěti matkami s poruchou autistického spektra. Získaná data byla analyzována pomocí metody tematické analýzy. Byla stanovena čtyři hlavní témata, která se v rozhovorech s participantkami objevovala: já jako matka, vztah s dítětem, výzvy mateřství a podpora v mateřství. Každé z témat dále zahrnovalo několik podtémat. Výsledky výzkumu značí, že mateřství je pro ženy s PAS náročné, ale přináší jim do života také pozitivní aspekty.
