Dopady ADHD na život dospělých jedinců

Abstract

This master's thesis deals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults, and aims to describe the specific effects of this disorder on the lives of adults from their perspective. The theoretical background explores the concepts associated with ADHD, including the development of the concept of diagnosis and related terminology. It also focuses on information about the origins, development, and epidemiology of ADHD, and presents the classification of the disorder according to current diagnostic manuals. Presents the diagnosis of ADHD in the context of adulthood, including symptomatology, comorbidities, and diagnostic and treatment options. Methods of data collection, selection of the research population and analysis of the obtained information are presented. Results show that people diagnosed with ADHD perceive the impact of attention deficit disorder in most of their daily activities. Furthermore, the primary symptoms have both positive and negative effects on all areas of life. The paper presented compensatory strategies to mitigate the negative effects of ADHD and provided insight into the impact of ADHD on the lives of adults with the disorder. plomová práce se zabývá dospělých, jejím cílem je popsat konkrétní dopady této poruchy na život dospělých z jejich pohledu. Teoretická východiska se zabývají pojmy spojenými včetně vývoje konceptu diagnó související terminologie. Dále se zaměřuje na informace o vzniku, vývoji a epidemiologii ADHD, představuje klasifikaci poruchy dle platných diagnostických manuálů. diagnózu ADHD v kontextu dospělosti včetně symptomatologie, komorbidit a možností diagnostiky a léčby. V rámci výzkumného šetření jsou představeny metody sběru dat, výběru výzkumného souboru a analýzy získaných informací. Výsledky ukazují, že lidé s diagnózou ADHD vnímají vliv poruchy pozornosti ve většině svých denních aktivit.
