Diagnostika mravně vadné mládeže a náprava poruch chování v českých zemích na přelomu 19. a 20. století

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the development of diagnostics of morally defective youth used at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in correctional institutions. The diagnosis of morally defective youth was closely related to the issue of correction and re-education of these persons. The very consequences of behavioral disorders have always had a serious impact on socielity itself. By establishing correctional facilities and the subsequent diagnosis of the inmates, the compeny accepted responsibility for the re-education of these persons. The diploma thesis has a comparative character with the aim of identifyng common or, on the contrary, different features in the diagnosis of youth. The theoretical part defines diagnostics in etopedic practice as we know it today. The classifications of behavioral disorders used today and at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries are described here. Methods and techniques used in special pedagogy - etopedics are charakterized in detail here. Furthermore, the systém of counseling care for children and youth with behavioral disorders and the most important legal norms related to the upbringing, education and support of children with behavioral disorders are described here. Diplomové práce se zabývá problematikou vývoje diagnostiky mravně vadné mládeže používané na přelomu 19. a 20. století ve vychovatelnách a polepšovnách. Diagnostika mravně vadné mládeže úzce souvisela s otázkou nápravy a převýchovy těchto osob. Samotné důsledky poruch chování měly vždy vážný dopad na samotnou společnost. Zřízením polepšoven a následnou diagnostikou chovanců společnost přijala odpovědnost za převýchovu těchto osob. Diplomová práce má komparativní charakter s cílem identifikovat společné, nebo naopak odlišných znaky v diagnostice mládeže. Teoretická část vymezuje diagnostiku v etopedické praxi tak, jak ji známe dnes. Jsou zde popsány klasifikace poruch chování užívané v současnosti i na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Podrobně jsou zde charakterizovány metody a techniky užívané ve speciální pedagogice - etopedii. Dále je zde popsán systém poradenské péče pro děti a mládež s poruchami chování a nejdůležitější právní normy vztahující se k výchově, vzdělávání a podpoře dětí s poruchou chování. Empirická část práce je zaměřena na ucelený historický přehled péče o mravně vadnou mládež. Je zde popsána diagnostika mravně vadné mládeže na přelomu 19. a 20. století v Čechách i ve světe.
