Stvaralaštvo Boško Tokina u kontekstu srpske avantgarde

Abstract

The bachelor thesis aims to describe and interpret the fundamental vectors of creative initiative of the Serbian avant-garde artist, film critic, and publicist Boško Tokin. Tokin emerges as one of the most complex avant-garde creators in the context of Serbian avant-garde history, successfully revitalizing and transforming the forms of Serbian interwar culture both practically and theoretically, without unnecessary gestures or affectation. This thesis will approach his work in this manner. The focus will be on Tokin's significant and unmistakable role as a member of the avant- garde group associated with the magazine "Zenit". He was not only a novelist and poet but also a prominent publicist and film critic. The constants of his various activities will be presented. The highlight of the content will be the reflection on his novel "Terazije", which will undergo thorough analysis. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl popsat a interpretovat základní vektory tvůrčí iniciativy srbského avantgardního umělce, filmového kritika a publicisty Boška Tokina. Tokin se na horizontále dějin srbské avantgardy jeví jako jeden z nejkomplexnějších avantgardních tvůrců, který zvládl bez zbytečných gest a afektu revitalizovat a transformovat podoby srbské meziválečné kultury nejen prakticky ale také teoreticky. Takto bude také v této práci nahlížen. Na zřeteli máme především fakt, že byl důležitým a nepřehlédnutelným členem avantgardní skupiny kolem časopisu "Zenit", že se profiloval nejen jako prozaik a básník, ale také jako publicista a filmový kritik. Představíme konstanty těchto jeho aktivit. Obsahovým vrcholem by měla být reflexe jeho románu "Terazije", který důkladně analyzujeme.
