Súčasné trendy v archívnej a múzejnej pedagogike

Abstract

The thesis deals with museums and archives as educational institutions. The goal of the thesis is to map this educational environment and, through practical teaching examples, prove the necessity of using new forms of education that archives and museums directly and indirectly offer. These are educational forms that, with the correct selection of the educational program and educational methods, can stimulate and activate students' interest in education many times more. However, finding a suitable teaching method that would be able to activate and effectively affect all students (including students with special educational needs) is a difficult task that teachers, museum teachers and archivists have to deal with. In any case, museums and archives belong to dynamically developing institutions that stand on long-standing traditions and foundations, and therefore their environment is known to the general public. This is an advantage on which the educators of these institutions can build the foundation of their educational programs.

Predkladaná práca sa zaoberá múzeami a archívmi ako vzdelávacími inštitúciami. Cieľom práce je zmapovať toto vzdelávacie prostredie a prostredníctvom praktických príkladov výuky dokázať nutnosť využívania nových foriem edukácie, ktoré archívy a múzea priamo aj nepriamo ponúkajú. Jedná sa o edukačné formy, ktoré pri správnom výbere výchovno-vzdelávacieho programu a edukačných metód dokážu mnohonásobne viac stimulovať a aktivizovať záujem žiakov o vzdelávanie. Avšak nájsť vhodnú metódu výuky, ktorá by dokázala aktivizačne a efektívne pôsobiť na všetkých žiakov (teda aj na žiakov so špeciálnými vzdelávacími potrebami), je náročná činnosť, s ktorou sa musia pedagógovia, múzejný pedagógovia a archivári popasovať. V každom prípade múzeá aj archívy patria k dynamicky sa rozvíjajúcím inštitúciám, ktoré stoja na dlhoročných tradíciách a základoch, a preto je ich prostredie pre širokú verejnosť známe. A to je výhoda, na ktorej môžu edukátori týchto inštitúcií postaviť základ svojich edukačných programov.
