Postoj sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách ke klientkám se závislostí na alkoholu v kontextu stigmatizace

Abstract

The diploma thesis discusses the issue of women's alcohol consumption and the stigma associated with this phenomenon from the perspective of social workers and workers in social services. It addresses alcohol dependence and the specificities associated with women's dependence, as well as the issue of social stigma and the social impact of female alcohol dependence. The focus is on the problem of female alcoholism in the context of social work and social services. The aim of the research investigation is to explore the views and attitudes of social workers and social services toward female clients with alcohol dependence and to identify potential stigmatization. The research investigation takes the form of an online questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. Through the analysis of the research results, it is observed that, in general, the attitudes of social workers and social service workers toward female clients with alcohol dependence are neutral. Social workers and social service workers acknowledge that working with clients with alcohol dependence is more challenging, but they express the opinion that, in their practice, there is no differential

Diplomová práce pojednává o problematice ženského alkoholismu a stigmatizace, kterou toto onemocnění může přinášet, z pohledu sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách. Zabývá se závislostí na alkoholu a specifiky, které se pojí se závislostí žen na alkoholu, a otázkou sociálního stigmatu a sociálních dopadů, které ženská závislost na alkoholu přináší. Je zaměřena na problematiku ženského alkoholismu v kontextu sociální práce a sociálních služeb. Cílem výzkumného šetření je zjistit pohled a postoj sociálních pracovníků a pracovníků v sociálních službách ke klientkám závislým na alkoholu a rozpoznat jejich případnou stigmatizaci. Výzkumné šetření je realizováno formou online dotazníkového šetření a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Analýzou výsledků výzkumného šetření je zjištěno, že obecně jsou postoje sociálních pracovníku a pracovníků v sociálních službách vůči klientkám se závislostí na alkoholu neutrální. Sociální pracovníci a pracovníci v sociálních službách reflektují obtížnější spolupráci s klientkami se závislostí na alkoholu, ale dle jejich názoru v rámci jejich praxe nedochází k rozdílnému přístupu, a tudíž k jejich stigmatizaci.
