Hrady na pozdně středověkém Benešovsku v sídelně-historickém kontextu

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with castles in the Benešov region in the late MiddleAge. The primary goal was to create a more comprehensive picture of all the castles in use at the time and their location in the landscape. This created an image of the settlement in their direct surroundings. A separate chapter was dedicated to the more general history of settlement in the Benešov region. The whole territory was compared with other areas, and separately with the Doolin region in western Ireland, whose medieval settlement situation I also briefly described. Subsequently, the current condition of the selected castles was evaluated. An important goal of this work was also the application of the results in the form of a presentation of lesser-known archaeological sites to the public. A separate section at the end of the thesis was devoted to this goal.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá hrady na Benešovsku v pozdním středověku. Primárním cílem bylo vytvořit celistvější představu o všech tehdy užívaných hradech a jejich umístění v krajině. Vznikl tak obraz osídlení v jejich bezprostředním okolí. Samostatná kapitola byla věnována obecnější historii osídlení na Benešovsku. Celé území bylo komparováno s jinými oblastmi, přičemž samostatně s regionem Doolin v západním Irsku, jehož středověkou sídelní situaci jsem v krátkosti také přiblížila. Následně byl zhodnocen současný stav vybraných hradů. Důležitým cílem této práce byla také aplikace výsledků formou prezentace méně známých archeologických lokalit veřejnosti. Tomuto cíli byla věnována samostatná část v závěru práce.
