Začátky mužské větve Opus Dei na území České republiky

Abstract

(anglicky) The bachelor thesis is about Opus Dei, the only personal prelature in the Catholic Church. The thesis focuses mainly on the beginnings of the male branch in the Czech Republic. It is based on the analysis of historiographical works and in the last chapter the method of oral history is used. Within the framework of oral history research, the main line of narrative is that of the three founding members of the Prelature in the territory of the Czech Republic. The whole thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the life of the founder, the related history of the organisation and its structure based on secondary literature of Czech, German and English provenance. The main source is mainly the three-volume biography of Josemaría Escríva by the Spanish historian Vazquez de Prado. It also describes the legal development and organizational structure of Opus Dei. In the second part of the thesis, the historical context is explained, specifically the situation of the Catholic Church between 1945 and 1989. The somewhat specific background of the situation of the Church in Czechoslovakia before the arrival of Opus Dei is outlined. (česky) Bakalářská práce pojednává o Opus Dei, jediné osobní prelatuře v katolické církvi. Práce se zaměřuje zejména na počátky mužské větve v České republice. Je založena na analýze historiografických prací a v poslední kapitole je využito metody orální historie. V rámci výzkumu orální historie je hlavní linií vyprávění tří zakládajících členů Prelatury na území České republiky. Celá práce je rozdělená do tří částí. V první části je popsán život zakladatele, s ním související historie organizace a její struktura na základě sekundární literatury české, německé a anglické provenience. Hlavním zdrojem je především třídílný životopis Josemaríi Escrívy od španělského historika Vazquéze de Prada. Dále je popsán právní vývoj a organizační struktura Opus Dei. V druhé části bakalářské práce je vysvětlen historický kontext, konkrétně situace katolické církve mezi léty 1945-1989. Je zde nastíněno poněkud specifické pozadí situace církve v Československu před příchodem Opus Dei. Třetí část ukazuje změny, které nastaly po roce 1989, kdy Sametová revoluce mimo jiné umožnila příchod Opus Dei do Československa. Poslední část obsahuje popis rozhovorů s narátory, který se snaží ozřejmit samotný příchod členů Opus Dei do Československa.
