Vliv antiky na stavby románského období v Čechách a na Moravě

Abstract

My bachelor's thesis tries to describe and document the mediated influence of the Classical antiquity on constructions in the Romanesque period in Bohemia and Moravia. It takes into account the historical development from the beginning and extinction of the antiquity era until the end of the Romanesque period, contextually elaborates on the development of architecture in Western and Central Europe and on significant buildings - the model examples it illustrates the ways of influence of antiquity leading to the territory of Bohemia and Moravia with special regard to Christianity and its role in the formation of architecture, as well as the witness of ancient architecture, Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. It documents, on few suitable examples, the influence of the antiquity on the architecture of specific buildings in Bohemia and Moravia, namely the Convent of the Premonstratensian Sisters in Doksany, palace in the Olomouc castle, the Church of St. Procopius in Záboří nad Labem, the Church of St. James the Older in Jakub near Kutná hora and finally the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Řeznovice in Moravia. The results of the examination are then evaluated at the end of the bachelor's thesis.

Bakalářská práce se snaží popsat a dokumentovat zprostředkovaný vliv antiky na stavby v románském období v Čechách a na Moravě. Všímá si historického vývoje od vzniku a zániku antické civilizace až do konce románské doby, kontextuálně zpracovává vývoj architektury v západní a střední Evropě a na významných stavbách - vzorech - dokládá cesty vlivu antiky vedoucí až na území Čech a Moravy, se zvláštním přihlédnutím ke křesťanství a jeho úloze na formování architektury, jakož i ke svědkovi antické architektury, kterým byl Marcus Vitruvius Pollio. Na několika vhodných příkladech dokládá vliv antiky na architekturu konkrétních staveb na území Čech a Moravy, jmenovitě klášterního kostela v Doksanech, paláce na Olomouckém hradě, kostela sv. Prokopa v Záboří nad Labem, kostela sv. Jakuba v Jakubu u Kutné Hory, a nakonec kostela svatých Petra a Pavla v Řeznovicích. Výsledky zkoumání pak posuzuje v závěru bakalářské práce.
