dc.description.abstractThe aim of this bachelor's thesis was to determine the level of attractiveness of athletic disciplines within physical education classes at primary schools and to identify factors that influence the attractiveness of these disciplines. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research sections. In the theoretical part, information is summarized regarding the significance of athletics in the curriculum of physical education at primary schools, including the history of athletics, motivation of students in physical activities, and general sports preferences. The research section focused on interpreting the results from a questionnaire survey completed by 256 respondents from selected primary schools in the Pelhřimov district, specifically ZŠ Humpolec, ZŠ Pacov, and ZŠ Pelhřimov. This part of the thesis places further emphasis on students' relationships with individual athletic disciplines and their impact on student performance, featuring a detailed analysis of the attractiveness of athletic disciplines, especially focusing on selected disciplines such as sprinting, ball throwing, and high jumping.
