Rodina dítěte s mentálním postižením

Abstract

Tématem bakalářské práce je rodina dítěte s mentálním postižením a jejím cílem bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem narození dítěte s mentálním postižením ovlivnilo život jeho rodiny a jak rodina tuto skutečnost prožívala. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je věnována uvedení do problematiky mentálního postižení. Dále se věnuje tématu rodiny, narození dítěte s mentálním postižením a procesem jeho přijetí. Přibližuje také změny v životě rodin dětí s mentálním postižením. Praktickou částí je kvalitativní výzkum, který se věnuje zkušenosti matek dětí s mentálním postižením. Data byla zjišťována metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a následně analyzována za užití interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy. Výsledkem práce je interpretace zkušenosti matek dětí s mentálním postižením a prožívání jejich života v souvislosti s péčí o dítě. The topic of the bachelor thesis is family of a child with intellectual disability and the aim was to find out how the birth of a child with intellectual disabilities affected the life of his family and how the family experienced this situation. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to an introduction to the issue of intellectual disability. It also deals with the topic of family, the birth of a child with intellectual disability and the process of its acceptance. It also looks at the changes in the lives of families of children with intellectual disabilities. The practical part is a qualitative research that explores the experiences of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews and then analysed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. The result of the thesis is an interpretation of the experience of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities and the lived experience of caring for their child.
