Skateboarding jako svobodná subkultura - historie od roku 1988 do konce 90. let v Česku

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je přinést zevrubný popis historie skateboardingu v ČSSR, potažmo v Česku od roku 1988 do konce devadesátých let dvacátého století, pomocí detailního vhledu do prostředí této městské komunity. Fundamentem orálněhistorického bádání je sběr dat z pořízených rozhovorů, dobové literatury, fotografií či filmových záznamů (VHS). Klíčovým faktorem je chápání života této specifické komunity z pohledu vnímání svobody a dalších subjektivních pocitů na pozadí celospolečenských proměn. Práce se zabývá zkoumáním výpovědí této generace skateboardistů a lidí spojených s tímto prostředím, s přesahem do kultury, podnikání a pořádání sportovních událostí. The goal of the thesis is to provide a detailed description of the history of skateboarding in the Czechoslovakia, i.e., in the Czech Republic from 1988 to the end of the nineties of the twentieth century, using a detailed insight into the environment of this urban community. The foundation of oral history research is the collection of data from recorded interviews, period literature, photographs, or film recordings (VHS). A key factor is the understanding of the life of this specific community from the perspective of the perception of freedom and other subjective feelings against the background of societal changes. The thesis examines the statements of this generation of skateboarders and people associated with this environment, with an overlap into culture, business, and the organization of sports events.
