Abstract

Bakalářská práce "Boj italského státu s organizacemi Cosa Nostra a Camorra" pojednává o reakci italského státu na působení mafiánských organizací Cosa Nostra a Camorra. Práce se zaměřuje především na období od konce 80. let 20. století až do současnosti. Od 80. let italský stát začal prosazovat zásadní kroky v protimafiánské legislativě a vytvářel komplexnější legislativní rámec, který měl omezit sílu a vliv italské mafie. Boj s italskou mafií se v tomto období stal jednou z priorit tehdejších vlád, ale díky odlišnému státnímu přístupu k oběma organizacím a jejich charakteristickým znakům jako je například vnitřní struktura nebo vztah k italskému státu se ale nepodařilo dosáhnout srovnatelných výsledků. Cílem práce bude pomocí komparativní analýzy vyhodnotit data úspěšnosti protimafiánských opatření a míry angažovanosti italského státu v boji s oběma organizacemi, a tak odhalit příčiny odlišných výsledků, kterých italský stát od konce 80. let dosáhl. Díky získaným datům práce také nastíní možnou hypotézu dalšího vývoje boje s oběma organizacemi. Práce v závěru zodpovídá výzkumnou otázku a uvádí, že organizace Cosa Nostra zaznamenala od 90. let 20. století výraznější pád než Camorra hlavně díky angažovanosti italského státu, který zvolil boj proti organizaci Cosa Nostra za bezpečnostní prioritu....

The bachelor thesis "The Italian state's fight against Cosa Nostra and Camorra" deals with the Italian state's response to the activities of the mafia organizations Cosa Nostra and Camorra. The thesis focuses mainly on the period from the late 1980s to the present day. From the 1980s onwards, the Italian state began to enforce major steps in anti-mafia legislation, creating a more comprehensive legislative framework to limit the power and influence of the Italian mafia. The fight against the Italian mafia became one of the priorities of the governments at that time. However, due to the different state approach to the two organizations and their characteristics, such as their internal structure or their relationship with the Italian state, the Italian state was not able to achieve comparable results. The aim of this thesis will be to use a comparative analysis to evaluate data on the success of anti-mafia measures and the level of involvement of the Italian state in the fight against the two organizations, in order to reveal the reasons for the different results achieved by the Italian state since the late 1980s.
