Abstract

NÁZEV: Řekové v České republice po roce 1992 v souvislosti s fenoménem brain drain AUTOR: Bc. Johanna Mylonaki KATEDRA (ÚSTAV): Ústav řeckých a latinských studií VEDOUCÍ PRÁCE: PhDr. Konstantinos Tsivos, Ph.D. ABSTRAKT: Diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem "brain drain" na příkladu Řeků, kteří se do České republiky přistěhovali po roce 1992, tedy od vyhlášení samostatnosti České republiky. Moje práce se nejprve zaměří na historii řecké diaspory v Československu a později v České republice. Dále se pokusím popsat průběh řecké finanční krize, a především fenomén "brain drain" - tedy "odliv mozků". Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zmapovat současný stav řecké komunity v České republice s důrazem na nové imigranty. V praktické části práce vyhodnotím výsledky strukturovaného dotazníku, se kterým oslovím Řeky, kteří se do České republiky přestěhovali v průběhu svého života. TITLE: Greeks in the Czech Republic after 1992 in connection with the phenomenon of brain drain AUTHOR: Bc. Johanna Mylonaki DEPARTMENT: Institute of Greek and Latin Studies SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Konstantinos Tsivos, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: My dissertation is dealing with the phenomenon of "brain drain" on the example of the Greeks, who moved to the Czech Republic after 1992, after the declaration of independence of the Czech Republic. My thesis will firstly focus on the history of the Greek diaspora in Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic. Then, I will describe the course of the Greek financial crisis and especially the "brain drain" phenomenon. The main goal of this thesis is to map the current state of the Greek community in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on new immigrants. In the practical part of the thesis, I will evaluate the results of a structured questionnaire with which I will address Greeks who moved to the Czech Republic during their lifetime.
