| dc.description.abstract | Korean Summits as Rituals Abstract: In my thesis, I discuss the applicability of ritual theory to the five Korean summit meetings that have taken place in 2000, 2007 and 2018. Following an explanation of the theoretical issues, I proceed to explore the referential framework of these summits and then propose an explanation of events in two of the summits based on audiovisual sources. Finally, I compare the Korean summits to similar summit meetings elsewhere. | en_US |
