Sociální kritika v indigenistickém románu Huasipungo / Indiánská pole

Abstract

Předmětem této práce bude analýza románu Huasipungo / Indiánská pole od ekvádorského autora Jorgeho Icazy (1906 - 1978). Dílo je řazeno k tzv. indigenismu, kulturnímu a politickému směru první poloviny 20. století, který chtěl konečně dát hlas indiánské a míšenecké populaci zemí Hispánské Ameriky a zobrazit problematiku společenské a ekonomické marginalizace. Bakalářská práce se zaměří na kritiku společnosti a jejího pohledu na postavení indiánů v Ekvádoru na počátku 20. století. Tato analýza je úzce spjata s historicko-literárním kontextem, kterému se v první části bude práce též věnovat. The aim of this bachelor's thesis will be an analysis of the novel Huasipungo by the Ecuadorian author Jorge Icaza (1906 - 1978). The work is classified among the so-called Indigenism, a cultural and political movement of the first half of the 20th century that wanted to finally give voice to the Indian and mixed-race populations of Hispanic America and to portray issues of social and economic marginalization. This bachelor's thesis will focus on a critique of society and its view of the position of Indians in Ecuador in the early 20th century. This analysis is closely linked to the historical and literary context, which will also be the focus of the first part of the thesis.
