Pracovní zkušenosti jedinců s hraniční poruchou osobnosti: Interpretativní fenomenologická analýza

Abstract

Hraniční porucha osobnosti (HPO) je poruchou osobnosti vyznačující se výraznou nestabilitou interpersonálních vztahů, impulzivitou a zvýšeným rizikem suicidálního chování. Většina dosavadních výzkumů se zaměřovala na vznik a projevy HPO, méně pozornosti však bylo věnováno pracovnímu uplatnění a pracovním zkušenostem osob s tímto onemocněním. Záměrem bakalářské práce je proto hlouběji porozumět psychosociálním souvislostem práce u jedinců s hraniční poruchou osobnosti a identifikovat bariéry a facilitátory jejich fungování v zaměstnání. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na definici a diagnostiku HPO, na vztah mezi psychickým onemocněním a zaměstnáním a specifika pracovního uplatnění u HPO. Navazující empirická část práce představuje kvalitativní výzkum za využití Interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy (IPA). Cílem výzkumu bylo získat hloubkové porozumění zkušenostem osob s hraniční poruchou osobnosti a identifikovat subjektivně vnímané facilitátory a bariéry jejich pracovního uplatnění. Výzkum byl realizován formou interview s pěti participanty a participantkami s diagnostikovanou HPO. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a personality disorder characterized by significant instability in interpersonal relationships, impulsivity, and an increased risk of suicidal behavior. While most previous research has focused on the development and symptoms of BPD, less attention has been paid to the employment and work experiences of individuals with this disorder. Therefore, the aim of this bachelor thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of the psychosocial contexts of work among individuals with BDP and to identify barriers and facilitators to their employment functioning. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition and diagnosis of BPD, the relationship between mental illness and employment, and the specifics work experiences for individuals with BPD. The empirical part of the thesis presents a qualitative study using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The research aimed to explore the work experiences of individuals with borderline personality disorder and to identify subjectively perceived facilitators and barriers to their employment.
