Postavy a venkovský svět v raných povídkách Františka Pravdy

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ranou prózou Františka Pravdy. Jejím cílem je charakteristika postav vystupujících v těchto Pravdových povídkách a novelách, snaha o zachycení jejich proměn, způsobu fungování mezilidských vztahů a popis důležitých hodnot, které Pravda ve svých dílech tematizuje. Práce se také věnuje vztahu postav k prostředí, v němž se pohybují. Následně sleduje dobovou recepci autorova raného díla a pokouší se o zařazení Františka Pravdy do kontextu dobové literatury, v němž tento spisovatel začal svá díla publikovat.

The central focus of this bachelor thesis is the early prose of František Pravda. Its aim is to characterize Pravda's characters that are presented in his short stories and novellas, illustrating their development and the mechanics of their interpersonal relationships. Additionally, it aims to describe the important values which convey prominent themes in Pravda's works. The thesis then explores the relation between the characters and the environment in which they are situated and comments on the contemporary reception of the author's early works, attempting to locate František Pravda within the context of the contemporary literature in which he began to publish his writings.
