Obsahové proměny latrinálií v závislosti na době a místu vzniku a jejich formativní faktory

Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá studiem českého folkloru ve formě tzv. latrinálií - nápisů psaných zpravidla anonymně na zdi toalet. Práce si klade za cíl popsat obsah této tvorby a její formativní faktory a potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu, zda se jedná o integrální součást folkloru a kultury. Pro tento účel si práce klade čtyři základní výzkumné otázky: zda je v této tvorbě přítomná kontinuita na dřívější tvorbu, zda je obsahově podmíněna geografickým místem svého vzniku, zda v ní lze nalézt interikonické vlivy jiných sfér kultury (literatura, hudba, kinematografie, výtvarné umění) a zda reflektuje aktuální společenské a kulturní dění. Za účelem ověření těchto hypotéz autor pracuje s celkovým počtem 702 vzorků, nasbíraných v rozmezí mezi únorem - červencem 2024 v Praze a Brně. Autor se ve sběru vzorků zároveň omezil pouze na souvislé nápisy. Platnost hypotézy byla částečně, avšak nepřesvědčivě potvrzena.

This thesis deals with the study of Czech folklore in the form of latrinalia - inscriptions placed in most cases anonymously at bathroom walls. The thesis aims to describe the content of its creation and formative factors to confirm or refute the theory that it is an integral part of folklore and culture. For that purpose, the thesis asks four basic research questions: whether there is continuity with earlier creation, whether its content is constituted by the geographical place of its creation, whether intericonic influences from other spheres of culture (literature, music, cinematography and fine art) can be found in it, and whether it reflects current social and cultural affairs. In order to test these hypotheses, the author works with a total of 702 samples collected between February and July 2024 in Prague and Brno. The author also limited his sample collection to coherent writings only. The validity of the hypothesis was partially but not convincingly confirmed.
