Postoj studentů k využití fyzických fondů knihoven

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá postojem studentů vysokých škol k využití fyzickému fondu knihoven. Konkrétně jsou zjišťovány bariéry, které studenti při využívání tohoto fondu mají, a možnosti, jak jeho využití zvýšit. K zodpovězení výzkumných otázek byla použita kvalitativní metoda polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkum byl proveden mezi studenty Univerzity Karlovy napříč obory a se zaměřením na akademické knihovny. Ukázalo se, že v této otázce hraje roli několik aspektů, jako je třeba obor studentů či požadavky profesorů. Nejčastějšími bariérami je poté nedostatek výtisků žádaných knih, vzdálenost a otevírací doba. Lze konstatovat, že celkově studenti používají více elektronických zdrojů. Knihovny ale do jejich životů určitě patří, jen novými způsoby. This thesis deals with the attitude of university students toward the use of physical collection of libraries. Specifically, the barriers students have when using this collection and the possibilities of increasing its use are being determined. A qualitative method of semi-structured interviews was used to answer the research questions. The research was conducted among Charles University students across disciplines and focused on academic libraries. Several aspects play a role in this question, such as the students' major or the professors' requirements. The most common barriers are the lack of copies of the requested books, distance and opening hours. Students use many e-resources today, and libraries as institutions are an insistent part of their lives in different ways.
