Výzvy a možnosti - příspěvek k problematice vydávání staročeských textů na příkladu Umučení rajhradského

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vydávání staročeských textů, a to konkrétně na příkladu Umučení rajhradského. Klade si přitom za cíl mimo jiné upozornit na výzvy a možnosti spojené s přípravou kritické edice této literární památky. První kapitola shrnuje výsledky dosavadního bádání v oblasti staročeských umučení Páně a zkoumá vztah těchto textů k tzv. planktům neboli pláčům Panny Marie či Marie Magdaleny, věnuje se otázce performativity a zasazuje staročeská umučení do kontextu výtvarného umění, a to s přihlédnutím k bohemikální výtvarné produkci 14. a první poloviny 15. století. Následující kapitola představuje metodologii a postup edičního zpracování Rajhradského umučení a zachycuje konkrétní kroky vedoucí k vytvoření kritické komentované edice skladby, která je hlavním výstupem této práce.

This thesis deals with the issue of publishing Old Czech texts, using The Martyrdom of Rajhrad as an example. It aims, among other things, to highlight the challenges and possibilities associated with preparing a critical edition of this literary work. The first chapter summarizes the findings of the existing research in the field of Old Czech texts known as the Martyrdoms of Jesus and examines the relation of these texts to the so-called plaints or laments of the Virgin Mary or Mary Magdalene, addresses the question of performativity and places the Old Czech Martyrdoms within the context of the visual arts, considering the Bohemian artistic production of the 14th and the first half of the 15th century. The following chapter introduces the methodology and editorial process of The Martyrdom of Rajhrad and outlines the specific steps leading to the creation of a critical commented edition of the work, which is the main outcome of this thesis.
