Navštěvování divadla dětmi: vlivy rodiny a lokality bydliště

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce je zjistit, které faktory a v jaké míře ovlivňují navštěvování divadla u dětí staršího školního věku, přičemž zvláštní pozornost je věnována rodinnému prostředí a lokalitě bydliště. V teoretické části práce zkoumá širší problematiku kulturní participace, kulturní socializace, vzniku kulturního habitu a předávání kulturních návyků v rodině. Teoretická východiska byla ověřována v českém prostředí prostřednictvím binární logistické regrese na datech z výzkumu Volný čas dětí a jeho prožívání 2021. Analyzovány byly zkušenosti s divadlem dětí, konkrétně zda dítě někdy za život navštívilo divadlo (mimo návštěvy se školou). Kromě vlivu sociodemografických charakteristik dítěte byl potvrzen vliv strukturální pozice rodiny, zejména vzdělání rodičů a ekonomického kapitálu rodiny. Klíčovým přínosem této práce je ověření kulturně socializačních vlivů rodiny, tedy že navštěvování kultury dětí s rodinou, a i samotné navštěvování divadla rodičů podporuje zkušenost s divadlem dítěte. Zjištění ukázala, že děti mají s divadlem jen omezené zkušenosti a velká část z nich nikdy nenavštívila divadlo mimo školní návštěvy. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the factors that influence children's attendance at the theatre, with particular attention to the family environment and the location of residence. In the theoretical part, the thesis explores the broader issues of cultural participation, cultural socialization, the formation of cultural habitus and the transmission of cultural habits within the family. The theoretical assumptions were tested in the Czech environment using binary logistic regression on data from the survey about children's leisure time and their experience. The analysis focused on children's experiences with theatre, specifically whether the child had ever visited the theatre in his/her lifetime (outside of visits with school). In addition to the influence of the child's socio-demographic characteristics, the influence of the family's structural position, in particular the parents' education and the family's economic capital, was confirmed. A key contribution of this paper is the verification of the cultural socialization effects of the family, i.e., that children's cultural attendance with the family, and even the parents' theatre attendance itself, promotes the child's theatre experience.
