Nadanie a jeho vplyv na vývoj identity

Abstract

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vplyvom nadania na vývin identity. Pomocou kvalitatívneho výskumného designu popisuje konštrukt nadania ako dynamického prežívaného fenoménu a skúma integráciu tohto konštruktu v rámci procesu vývinu identity jednotlivca. Cieľom práce je porozumieť významu skúmaného javu. Teoretická časť práce popisuje nadanie ako multidimenzionálny konštrukt, predstavuje nadanie v širších súvislostiach najaktuálnejších výskumov a pristupuje k vývinu identity ako k dynamickému procesu, ktorý je možné rekonštruovať v subjektívnom naratíve. Empirická časť práce predstavuje interpretačnú fenomenologickú analýzu ako prostriedok k dosiahnutiu hlbšieho poznania v skúmanej oblasti. Výsledky plynúce z výskumu naznačujú, že jednotlivci, ktorí vyštudovali školu pre mimoriadne nadané deti vysvetľujú pojem "nadanie" z hľadiska kognitívnych charakteristík, spájajú tento konštrukt so záujmom o svet. Tento konštrukt integrovali v rámci vývinu svojej identity na základe spätnej väzby, ktorú dostávali od svojho okolia a v spojení so vzdelávaciu inštitúciou, ktorú navštevovali. Zároveň tomuto konštruktu neprikladajú v naratíve svojho života veľký význam. The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of giftedness on identity development. Using a qualitative research design, it describes the construct of giftedness as a dynamically experienced phenomenon and explores the integration of this construct within the process of individual identity development. The aim of the thesis is to understand the significance of the phenomenon under investigation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes giftedness as a multidimensional construct, presents giftedness in the broader context of the most recent research, and approaches identity development as a dynamic process that can be reconstructed in a subjective narrative. The empirical part of the thesis presents an interpretive phenomenological analysis as a means to achieve deeper insights in the field. The results arising from the research suggest that individuals who have graduated from a school for exceptionally gifted children explain the concept of 'giftedness' in terms of cognitive characteristics also linking this construct to an interest in the world.
