Abstract

Příběhy čaje a čajová praxe v kontextu české čajové subkultury Bakalářská práce se v obecné rovině snaží porozumět čajové subkultuře v České republice z perspektivy sociokulturní antropologie. V práci se ptám po příbězích, které se s přípravou a konzumací čaje pojí a snažím se rozkrýt významy a emoce, které se váží k čajové praxi. Teoreticky je práce zakotvena v oblasti symbolické antropologie a antropologie smyslů a emocí. Metodologicky je bakalářská práce založena na principech etnografického výzkumu, terénní výzkum probíhal v prostředí českých čajoven a čajových studií, za využití metod zúčastněného pozorování a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Skrze perspektivu smyslové zkušenosti se práce věnuje přístupu k pití čaje v České republice a reflexím narátorů na tento fenomén. Stories of tea and practise of tea consumption in the context of the Czech tea subculture This bachelor thesis tries to understand the tea subculture in the Czech Republic from the perspective of sociocultural anthropology. In this thesis I seek out stories and try to uncover the meanings and emotions attached to the practices of consuming and preparing tea. The theory of the work is grounded in symbolic anthropology and the anthropology of senses and emotions. Methodologically, the bachelor thesis is based on the principles of ethnographic research, the field research was conducted in the environment of Czech teahouses and tea studios using participant observation and semi-structured interviews. Through the perspective of sensory experience, the thesis examines the approach to tea drinking in the Czech Republic and the narrators' reflections on this phenomenon.
