Number of pages: 86 Year of defense: 2024 Keywords: transcultural and multicultural nursing, registered nurse, language readiness The bachelor's thesis deals with transcultural nursing care from the perspective of a general nurse. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part describes transcultural nursing care ingenerally, its basic concepts such as culture shock, race and racism, ethnicity, nation and national minority, the difference between transculture and multiculturalism is explained, and healthcare is described as a subculture. Furthermore, two basic models of nursing care in transculture are explained here. The theoretical part also contains the basic principles of treating a foreigner and communicating with him, where verbal and non-verbal communication, communication between a nurse and a patient, the basics and principles of communication with a foreigner, principles when communicating through an interpreter are described, and the last part describes the four most numerous minorities in the Czech Republic...

Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. V teoretické části je obecně popsána transkulturní ošetřovatelská péče, její základní pojmy jako je kulturní šok, rasa a rasismus, etnikum a etnicita, národ a národnostní menšina, je vysvětlen rozdíl mezi transkulturou a multikulturou a zdravotnictví popsáno jako subkultura. Dále jsou zde vysvětleny dva základní modely ošetřovatelské péče v transkultuře. Teoretická část také obsahuje základní principy ošetřování cizince a komunikaci s ním, kde je popsána verbální a neverbální komunikace, komunikace mezi sestrou a pacientem, základy a zásady komunikace s cizincem, zásady při komunikaci přes tlumočníka, a v poslední části jsou popsány čtyři nejčetnější menšiny v České republice - Ukrajinci, Slováci, Vietnamci a Rusové, jejich náboženství a vliv na ošetřovatelský...
