Válečné zločiny armády Korejské republiky ve Vietnamu a jejich dopady na mezinárodní vztahy

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na válené zloiny armády Korejské republiky během vietnamské války (1955-1975), konkrétně na masakry vietnamských civilistů a případy znásilnění vietnamských žen, a jejich dopady na mezinárodní vztahy. V první ásti poskytuje základní historický kontext války ve Vietnamu, ve druhé se již blíže věnuje úasti armády Korejské republiky v letech 1964-1973. Třetí ást práce definuje pojem válených zloinů a konkrétně popisuje útoky v Hà My, Phong Nhị, Phong Nhất, Bình An a Bình Hoa, vetně zpráv o sexuálních napadeních. tvrtá kapitola se věnuje politickým a diplomatickým důsledkům války, vetně vývoje korejsko-vietnamských vztahů a reakcí korejské spolenosti na zveřejnění prvních svědectví vietnamských přeživších v roce 1999. Cílem práce je posoudit rozsah válených zloinů a zhodnotit jejich následný dopad na rozvoj korejsko-vietnamských vztahů.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the war crimes committed by the Republic of Korea's army during the Vietnam War (1955-1975), specifically on the massacres of Vietnamese civilians and cases of sexual assault against Vietnamese women, and their impact on international relations. The first section provides the historical context of the Vietnam War, while the second section delves into the involvement of the Republic of Korea's army during the years 1964-1973. The third section defines the concept of war crimes and specifically describes the attacks in Hà My, Phong Nhị, Phong Nhất, Bình An, and Bình Hoa, including reports of sexual assaults. The fourth chapter addresses the political and diplomatic consequences of the war, including the evolution of Korean-Vietnamese relations and the responses of Korean society to the publication of the first testimonies from Vietnamese survivors in 1999. The objective of this thesis is to assess the extent of war crimes and evaluate their subsequent impact on the development of Korean-Vietnamese relations.
