Motivy pro výstup z ideologicky neukotvené politické strany - případ hnutí ANO

Abstract

Politické strany zastávají klíčovou roli v demokratických politických systémech. V posledních letech zaznamenávají pokles svých členských základen. Častým důvodem odchodu členů je ideologický rozkol mezi jedincem a směřováním strany. Je tak otázkou, co jsou ostatní motivy pro odchod členů u stran s neukotvenou ideologií. Tato práce se zaměřuje na konkrétní případ hnutí ANO v České republice. Výzkum byl proveden jako případová studie s využitím kvalitativních metod, konkrétně hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a písemných strukturovaných rozhovorů. Celkově bylo provedeno 17 rozhovorů, které byly následně kodifikovány na základě teoretického východiska. Pro takto specifický případ hnutí ANO nebyla původní teorie dostatečně obsáhlá, proto byla obohacena o tři nové kategorie motivů pro výstup. Z rozhovorů bylo patrné, že odchody ze stran ovlivňuje více dlouhodobých faktorů. Hlavními motivy pro odchod jsou kognitivní zapojení - tedy nedostatečný vliv na fungování hnutí - problém se spolustraníky a ideologický rozkol mezi členem a stranou. Také naplnění prvotních očekávání členství není zárukou pro setrvání ve straně. Pro posílení stability své členské základny by měly politické strany klást důraz na participaci členů v rozhodovacích procesech, řešení vnitrostranických konfliktů, transparentnější...

Political parties play a key role in democratic political systems. In recent years, they have experienced a decline in the members of their membership bases. A common reason for members leaving is an ideological dissonance between the individual and the direction of the party. It is thus a question whether there are also other motives leading to members leaving in parties with an unanchored ideology. This thesis focuses on the specific case of the movement ANO in Czechia. The research was conducted as a case study using qualitative methods, specifically in-depth semi-structured interviews combined with written structured interviews. In total, there were 17 interviews, which were later codified based on theoretical underpinnings. Since for the specific case of the ANO party the theory was incomplete, hence three new categories of motives for leaving were added. The conducted interviews show that a combination of long-term factors results in members leaving. The main motives are cognitive engagement - expressed as having small influence on the functioning of the movement - issues with fellow party members, and an ideological dissonance between the member and the party.
