Reliéf Madony Ochranitelky z olomoucké katedrály v reflexi díla Niclase Gerhaerta van Leyden

Abstract

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá monografickým studiem pozdně gotického reliéfu Madony Ochranitelky, nacházející se dnes v kapli sv. Cyrila a Metoděje olomoucké katedrály. Cílem práce je detailní a komplexní poznání díla a prozkoumání jeho vztahu k (po)gerhaertovskému sochařství a jeho ohnisku ve Vídni a Vídeňském Novém Městě, které reprezentují především císařské náhrobky Friedricha III. ve svatoštěpánském dómu a Eleonory Portugalské v cisterciáckém Neuklosteru ve Vídeňském Novém Městě. Zvláštní zřetel je kladen na souvislosti mezi reliéfem a sochařskou výzdobou radniční kaple sv. Jeronýma v Olomouci. Součástí práce je kritické shrnutí dosavadní literatury. Používanými metodami bakalářské práce jsou formální a komparativní analýza, ikonografický a typologický rozbor a vyhodnocení materiálového a technologického průzkumu a kontextu vzniku díla. The presented bachelor's thesis deals with a monographic study of the late Gothic relief of the Madonna of the Protector, located today in the chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius of Olomouc Cathedral. The aim of the work is a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the work and an examination of its relationship to (post) Gerhaert sculpture and its focal point in Vienna and Vienna's New Town, which are mainly represented by the imperial tombstones of Friedrich III. in St. Stephen's Cathedral and Eleanor of Portugal in the Cistercian Neukloster in Vienna's New Town. Special attention is paid to the connections between the relief and the sculptural decoration of the town hall chapel of St. Hieronymus in Olomouc. Part of the work is a critical summary of the existing literature. The methods used in the bachelor thesis are formal and comparative, iconographic and typological analysis and evaluation of the material and technological research and the context of the creation of the work.
