Abstract

1 Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku sexuality a partnerských vztahů u osob s mentálním postižením a na zjištění postojů a připravenosti pracovníků, kteří s těmito osobami pracují. Výzkum ukázal, že sexuální výchova a poradenství pro osoby s mentálním postižením jsou stále častěji považovány za důležitou součást komplexní péče. I když více než polovina respondentů uvedla, že jejich zařízení nabízí sexuální výchovu nebo poradenství, stále existuje prostor pro zlepšení, především v oblasti školení pracovníků. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že odborná příprava pracovníků v oblasti sexuální výchovy je nedostatečná, což může negativně ovlivnit kvalitu poskytované podpory. Většina pracovníků nemá specializované vzdělání, což naznačuje potřebu pravidelných školení a zajištění přístupu k externím odborníkům. Pozitivním zjištěním je zájem některých pracovníků o další vzdělávání, což naznačuje jejich ochotu zlepšovat své dovednosti a lépe reagovat na potřeby osob s mentálním postižením v oblasti sexuality. Doporučení vyplývající z výzkumu zahrnují zlepšení školení pracovníků, vytvoření jasných metodik a pravidelnou podporu prostřednictvím supervizí a spolupráce s odborníky. 1 Abstract This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of sexuality and partner relationships among persons with mental disabilities and on the determination of the attitudes and readiness of workers who work with these persons. Research has shown that sexuality education and counseling for people with intellectual disabilities is increasingly considered an important part of comprehensive care. Although more than half of respondents reported that their facility offers sexuality education or counseling, there is still room for improvement, particularly in the area of staff training. The results of the research showed that the professional training of workers in the field of sex education is insufficient, which can negatively affect the quality of the support provided. Most workers do not have specialized education, which indicates the need for regular training and access to external experts. A positive finding is the interest of some workers in further education, which indicates their willingness to improve their skills and respond better to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities in the area of sexuality.
