Debaty o právech gayů a leseb v zemích V4. Veřejné kontroverze a vliv konzervativních zájmových skupin

Abstract

Práce se zaměří na nárůst homofobie, který lze nyní pozorovat ve všech zemích V4. Tento trend je možné interpretovat více způsoby: (1) jako důsledek úspěchu národně- konzervativního ideologického projektu (2) jako výsledek činnosti "morálních křižáků" a "morálních podnikatelů" z prostředí některých církví a neziskových organizací (3) jako reakci daných společností na emancipační snahy LGBT+ směřující k proměnám societálních norem. Práce bude založená na komparativní analýze zemí V4 (Česká republika, Polsko, Maďarsko a Slovensko). Analýza se bude zabývat dvěma tématy souvisejícími s právy gayů a leseb, které způsobují názorový konflikt v politické debatě ve zkoumaných státech: (1) debatou ohledně stejnopohlavního manželství a (2) sporem o sexuální výchově na základních školách. Práce bude sledovat, jak politické elity v zemích V4 nahlíží na stejnopohlavní manželství a na sexuální výchovu ve školách a jakou dynamiku měly politické spory, které se jich v poslední dekádě týkaly.

The thesis will focus on the increase in homophobia that can now be observed in all V4 countries. This trend can be interpreted in several ways: (1) as a consequence of the success of the national-conservative ideological project (2) as a result of the activities of "moral crusaders" and "moral entrepreneurs" from the environment of some churches and NGOs (3) as a reaction of the societies in question to the emancipatory efforts of LGBT+ towards the transformation of social norms. The work will be based on a comparative analysis of the V4 countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia). The analysis will address two issues related to gay and lesbian rights that cause a conflict of opinion in the political debate in the countries under study: (1) the debate on same-sex marriage and (2) the dispute on sex education in primary schools. The paper will trace how political elites in the V4 countries view same-sex marriage and sex education in schools and what dynamics have been involved in the political disputes that have affected them in the last decade.
