Česká kongregace sester dominikánek od roku 1889 do současnosti

Abstract

Disertační práce pojednává o historii České kongregace sester dominikánek, a to především na základě interních archivních dokumentů kongregace a osobních svědectví pamětnic, které si působení tohoto zasvěceného společenství pamatují ve své obci nebo jsou dodnes jejími členkami. Pro lepší orientaci v dějinách kongregace je text práce rozdělen na dvě význačné historické etapy, které velmi ovlivnily činnost a poslání dominikánek. Jedná se o roky 1889-1948 a 1948-1989. První kapitola se věnuje vzniku kongregace, rozebírá, kdo nejvíce ovlivnil její vzdělávací a výchovnou činnost, a nezapomíná ani na utváření prvních stanov, podle kterých se řeholní sestry řídily. Závěr kapitoly pak mapuje jednotlivé konventy, které mezi lety 1889- 1948 měly dominikánky ve správě. Zároveň analyzuje, co měly řeholnice v těchto místech na starosti, respektive zda spravovaly například dívčí školu, sirotčinec nebo ústav sociální péče, a která osobnost (kněz, šlechtic či místní český vlastenec) z dané obce je tam pozvala. Druhá kapitola se konkrétněji a hlouběji zabývá životem komunity dominikánek v Šilperku, dnešních Štítech, která zde spravovala vyšší odbornou školu pro ženy. The dissertation deals with the history of the Czech Congregation of Sisters of the Dominicans, mainly on the basis of internal archival documents of the congregation and personal testimonies of female witnesses who remember the work of this consecrated community in their town or are still members of it. For better orientation in the history of the congregation, the text of the thesis is divided into two significant historical stages, which greatly influenced the activities and mission of Sisters of the Dominicans. These are 1889-1948 and 1948-1989. The first chapter is devoted to the formation of the congregation, discusses who influenced its schooling and educational activities the most and does not forget the creation of the first statutes, which the nuns followed. The end of the chapter then conduct a survey of the individual convents which between 1889-1948 had Dominican sisters in administration. At the same time, it is analyzed what religious women were in charge of in these places, or whether they managed, for example, a girls' school, orphanage or social welfare institution, and which personality (priest, nobleman or local Czech patriot) from the given village invited them there.
