Lekárnici v Českých krajinách v období ranného novoveku

Abstract

Práca sa zaoberá dejinami lekární a lekárnikov do roku 1170. Hlavný akcent je kladený na lekárnikov pôsobiacich v Prahe. Úvod práce zachycuje európsky vývoj farmácie a pokračuje celkovým vývojom lekárnikov a lekární v Českých krajinách. Obsahuje podrobnú sumarizáciu pražských lekárnikov vyskytujúcich sa v archívnych prameňoch. Práca sa zároveň venuje profesnej úrovni lekárnikov a popisuje medicinálne poriadky, ktorými sa museli okrem iných profesií riadiť aj lekárnici. Popisuje vybavenie lekární, nástroje a nádoby, s ktorými prichádzali lekárnici každodenne do styku. Práca ďalej približuje atmosféru lekárne, ktorá mala svoje tajomné špecifika a končí krátkou exkurziou do pražskej lekárne.

The thesis deals with the history of apothecaries and pharmacists until 1170. Its primary focus is on the apothecaries who were working in Prague. The first part of this thesis treats of pharmacy development in Europe and continues with the general development of pharmacists and apothecaries in the Czech lands. It does provide a complex overview of pharmacists acting in Prague, whose records are being retained in archive sources. Except for proffesional degree of pharmacists the thesis also describes Medicinal rules, which they had to follow. The thesis also describes equipment and instruments that the pharmacists were using on daily basis. Further, the thesis focuses on the pharmacy atmosphere that used to have its mysterious specificity. In the conclusion, a short excursion to a Prague pharmacy is described.
