Estetika a poetika současného cirkusu (od moderního cirkusu až po současný aneb systematické prolínání jednotlivých umění s cílem vytvořit umění absolutní)

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zmapovat a popsat základní charakteristiku současného cirkusu a dokázat jeho uměleckou svéprávnost a samostatnost. V devíti samostatných kapitolách se věnuji podrobnému rozboru aspektů typických pro nový a především současný cirkus. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou věnovány vzniku moderního cirkusu a jeho postupnému vývoji až k cirkusu současnému. Dále se zabývám rozborem jednotlivých cirkusových umění a jejich specifikám, cirkusové architektuře, fyzické i herecké průpravě cirkusových umělců a neméně i lidskému tělu, jakožto primárnímu výrazovému prostředku současného cirkusu. Podstatnou část práce tvoří popis jednotlivých složek cirkusové inscenace, jejichž funkce jsou uváděny ve vztahu k tvorbě současných cirkusových souborů. V předposlední kapitole je uveden podrobný popis čtyř inscenací čtyř různých francouzských souborů současného cirkusu. Diplomová práce je inspirována převážně teoretickou literaturou pocházející z francouzského prostředí. Jednotlivé příklady se tudíž zaměřují na soubory pocházející z Francie nebo frankofonních oblastí. Základní metoda výzkumu se zakládala na vyhledávání a důkladném studiu na cirkus zaměřené teoretické literatury, rozhovorech se současnými cirkusovými umělci, pedagogy a teoretiky a na analýze zhlédnutých představení.

This diploma thesis is focused on the research in the area of the new and the contemporary circus. The essential object of the thesis is the characteristics of the contemporary circus phenomenon, which should demonstrate its artistic independence. The analysis of typical contemporary circus aspects is implemented in nine self-contained chapters. These chapters are dedicated to the development process from the modern circus to the contemporary circus, the minute analysis of different circus arts and their particularities, the contemporary circus architecture, the circus artists' physical and acting improvement and last but not least to the human body as the cardinal instrument of contemporary circus expression. An important part of the thesis is based on the description of contemporary circus performance elements, which are practically presented on the compagnies' creative processes. Especially the last chapter contains the descritption of four different contemporary circus performances made by four different contemporary circus compagnies which come from France or francophone territories. The primary research method was searching and studying theoretical literature dedicated to the circus, interviewing circus pedagugues, artists and theorists and analysing the contemporary circus performances.
